Sending along our personal Thank You. For not only having the original thought/idea, but also all the follow-thru it took to make this 7-day Bluegrass Cruise possible and a great success. And, it was very successful as far as we are concerned! Congratulations!

Carla, you did such an incredible job!!!! And we so enjoyed the music, the cruising, all the sights, and getting to know fans, bands and pickers. Yes, we were spoiled with wonderful memories.

WOW, great cruise !! We had a great time. It was fun to meet new bluegrass pickers and this our first cruise was spectacular. It was great to meet people from around the country. We were thankful for the good weather too ! The bands were great and the workshops very informative and fun.

I loved getting to know Ken and Dick and the rest of the hired players. And it was WAY fun working with musicians of all skill levels in the band scramble and making something happen from it. (we'll leave it nameless - the whatever happened part!) We had a blast in our band. That's all that matters.

I LOVED the workshops. I learned SO much at the bass workshops (not such that you could tell during the band scramble performance!) that will forever change not just my bass playing, but my whole life. There was some powerful stuff taught in those classes!! I am elated at the wisdom I took away from that cruise. And I made friends that I think I will have for long years to come. This is a wonderful thing that you do. THANK YOU for your generous hearts. The world needs more of YOU!

Ted and I really enjoyed the cruise and I think you said/feel it just the way I do. The generosity of the bluegrass community is so great. The accessibility of the bands is just the best!! Thanks for a great trip, it was a fabulous introduction to cruising for Ted and I and we too enjoyed meeting you and Greg.

Thanks again for all your hard work. It was a great vacation for me. Cruising, Alaska and Bluegrass, it doesn't get much better than that. I know what you mean, post cruise let-down. No chocolates on my pillow, no five course meals, no nightly concerts, no gently rocking ship to put me to sleep at midnight or one in the morning. I have to look at the pictures we took to assure myself it wasn't a dream. It was a great atmosphere to be in with those great artists, Claire Lynch was spectacular. I was amazed by the playing of David Harvey Jim Hurst and Missy Raines. I was able to take a lesson from Dick Brown kindling new enthusiasm in my own attempts at playing. I even took a quick beginning fiddle lesson from Caridwen!! She said she was good at teaching children and I thought, well, that sounds like me!! What a wonderful group of musicians. Not only are they a ll very talented people but they are also truly really nice people and that made the trip. Even my wife who is not "officially 'into bluegrass loved Claire Lynch. It just went by too darn quick. You guys did a great job, thanks again.

Carl and I had an absolutely fantastic time on the cruise – what a marvelous idea, to combine great, interesting (and nice) musicians with the whole cruise experience, and of course glaciers, mountains, bears, Native Alaskans etc. etc. Thanks so much for organizing this, and don’t be surprised if you find more east-coasters on future cruises.

We had a fantastic time! The music, people, food and scenery was wonderful. Thanks so very much for your part in "making this happen."  I guess I will have to say the highlight of "Our" trip was Ken Orrick asking Bo to sing on their program. That meant so very much to us.

We both enjoyed the cruise, but especially the bluegrass portions of it, immensely!!! I know that y'all went to a TREMENDOUS amount of time and trouble to put this together, and we appreciate it so very much. We have shared our "good times" with friends, and there is one couple that

It was a great event; loved meeting you, and all the other committed bluegrassers. It was wonderful to have interact so easily with all the band members, jam late into the night, see a bit of Alaska, overeat (yum), and generally have a great time. Just got my Silver and Gold CD from Claire yesterday, along with a nice note. Superb music. Each of the professionals was so willing to help, encourage, etc. Thanks for a lovely time, and a chance to make lots of new friends.
